Keenan McAlister Equine

 Mary Lou McGurkin - Office Manager- Mary Lou has worked for Dr. Keenan since 1999. She was previously the office manager for an accounting firm and prior to that for a building contractor. Mary Lou had experience with horses in her "younger days" and now enjoys the days when she accompanies the veterinarians on their calls.

 Barbara Roberson - Scheduler -Barbara has been working for Dr. Keenan since 1997. Prior to that she worked for almost 17 years in small animal as an assistant and office manager. A long time resident of Chesterfield Township, she has had extensive involvement with the FFA. Barbara has owned horses in the past and enjoys gardening in her spare time.
 Amy Boyle - Office/Veterinary Assistant - Amy joined us in September 2006.  She divides her time between working in the office and assisting the veterinarians on farm calls. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with a specialization in equine science from Cook College-Rutgers University in 2006. She has been a horse enthusiast and rider from a young age.  She has been teaching riding and volunteering for the past 8 years at a local horse farm.
 Kim Pastva - Veterinary Assistant - Kim, a 2004 graduate of Cook College, Rutgers University, joined the practice in January 2008. Kim rides with the veterinarians assists at appointments. Her passion for horses began at a young age led to a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Sciences, specializing in Equine Sciences. She worked extensively with the NAERIC Incentive Program at the Equine Science Center at Cook, from her freshman to post graduate years.

Rita Ann Bliden - Office Assistant - Rita grew up in Monmouth County and spent most of her free time at nearby horse farms riding, showing and working.  She put in several years as a barn manager, 2 years as a veterinary assistant and 7 years as a Standardbred groom. Whatever her job, she still spends free time around horses and is never far from a pitchfork.
